- Trash and Brush CollectionPosted on: 2008-03-12Garbage/Heavy Trash Pickup – Monday & Thursday
Garbage is picked up on all City holidays except Christmas Day, New Years Day and Thanksgiving.
Garbage must be in cans or plastic bags less than 40 gallon size. It should be by the street by 7:30 a.m. on the scheduled collection day.
Heavy trash such as furniture, boxes, old appliances (without Freon) and other junk will be collected along with your regular garbage. Please remove your trash cans from the street as soon as possible after trash pickup.
No building materials, tires, batteries or other hazardous materials can be set out with the garbage.
Brush Collection – 4th Monday of the Month
The brush/limbs must be by the street by 7:30 a.m. on Monday of your pick-up week. No other material may be mixed with brush and limbs. Please make every effort to put out brush and limbs the week of pick up ONLY, not earlier.
