- Speeders and SpeedbumpsHello neighbors,
My family and I recently moved in and have noticed the heavy amount of those who speed through areas where families and children play. This hit a high point when crossing the raod with my wife and FOUR year old daughter the other night. A car approached at a high rate of speed, and I yelled and waived for them to slow down. They did initially, and then laid on the horn, hit the gas and aimed for us. I was so shocked the only description I can give is a young driver in a grey four door Pontiac Grand Prix, or similar body style. They almost hit my daughter. Therefore I will be pursuing increased patrols from BPD, adding my own speed bumps, and cameras to film my street. (they are quite cheap) Anyone who knows who this little punk is, and wants to contact me can put a post here. Thanks! - iN need of baby bedsMy neighbor at 5010 Arrowhead had twins 3 months early and they have no baby beds for the babies when they bring them home, I thought that we might ask around and also put in in the news letter and see if we can help them out.
